~ RETURN POLICY
This policy is only entitled for the ready products/items shown/displayed on the website www.girdharilalco.com
Girdhari Lal Co. aims to deliver products & services of the best quality to you and is dedicated to ensure your complete shopping satisfaction. We are committed to ensure that you never need to use this policy. However, in case of any unforseen circumstances if the item ordered from Girdhari Lal Co. does not meet your expectation or requirement then please report the matter to us by email, we would be happy to assist you in resolving the matter.
We take strict measures to ensure that the items delivered to you are in a perfect condition. However, there is a remote possibility that:
- The item may be damaged during transit / shipping
- Or that a wrong item is delivered to you by mistake.
- Or it might be misplaced / lost.
-If the Item packing received is in damaged condition, Girdharil Lal Co would not be responsible for replacing the packing material.
-If you receive studded stone jewellery & if the stone is damaged during transit/shipping, Girdhari Lal Co. will not be liable to bear the cost of replacing the stone. The charges for replacing the stone will be payable by the customer (Charges may vary stone to stone depending on the size, type and quality of stone)
- if you received a wrong item by mistake or the item you ordered was misrepresented/ misinterpreted in on our site, please contact us by email within 24 hours of your receipt of the product. On contacting us, we'll give you instructions on how to proceed so that we may exchange/rectify or replace the item as quickly as possible with no extra shipping cost to you.
- If the original ordered item due to some unavoidable circumstances cannot be rectified, then we will request you to choose an alternate item for exchange and express ship the same to you with no extra shipping cost to you.
-If the item/product is lost/ misplaced during transit/shipping, GirdhariLalCo will not be held responsible in refunding or replacing the product. However, we could help you in tracking the product if you have the tracking details.
However, if the goods are insured the customer will receive the refund only after GirdhariLalCo receives the insurance from the post or courier agency. This process may take 15-30 working days.
Or any other amicable resolution as mutually agreed with customer may be considered.
Communication is the best resource to fulfil your wish. The clearer your communication is with us the better we can help you in making, choosing or replacing the product.
* Please note in case of custom made orders the return policy will not be applicable.
-In orders where alterations will be done cancelling or returning the product will not be acceptable.
-We request you not to send back an item without consulting us. It's very important that you DO NOT send the item back to us until you have Confirmation of an approval from us.
-If item is sent back to us without consulting us then NO credit or replacement shall be given on such items.
~ THINGS TO KNOW
-The pictures in the site may vary slightly from the actual product.
A customer must place an order by keeping in mind this minor variation in colour as seen on a computer screen against the actual colour of the jewellery.
-Once the order is placed, delivery would be done within 7-15 working days or a maximum to 45 days.
-Any alteration in the ready jewellery as shown in website or email, will be Charged extra minimum of 5$ from the given price, or higher as per the alteration.
- Free Alteration, Engraving & Polishing will depend upon the value of the order, the higher the value of the things you purchase will entitle you for Free alteration, engraving & polishing.
However all discretion will be solely be taken by GirdhariLalCo depending upon case to case.
-As we all know Silver jewellery/products do get tarnished in due course of time. GirdhariLalCo cannot be responsible for Tarnishing of Silver.
-GIRDHARI LAL CO does not accept any kind of responsibility or Liability in respect of any Error or Omission in any data provided or calculations done by www.girdharilalco.com cannot be held responsible & no representation or warranty regarding the standing credit is given.
-If the site does not operate or perform properly or is defective, GirdharilalCo or its employees will not be responsible in any kind of delay in repairing the site.
-Always report any and all problems associated with a single order/package delivery at the same time. Be as specific as possible when describing the problem, as all returned items are examined & verified for defects / variations.
-Always keep the tracking detail until the product is delivered to you.
-Always return your items using registered airmail / courier who would provide proof of delivery.
- Any shipping costs/charges of sending back the item to us will be paid by the customer apart from what he/she paid for shipping earlier on ordering/receiving the product from Girdhari lal Co.
-Please return within 7-10 working days of confirmation from our end, in original condition (please Do Not, Wear, Wash, or damaged the items).
-Please ensure to include a copy of the invoice you received.
-The jewellery you returned will be examined and if we consider it applicable then we would advise you further instruction weather it could be for replaced or exchanged.
-If something happens in transit and the package doesn't get delivered to us, we cannot be held responsible in any way in not helping you out.
So make sure to send thru reliable courier agency/post and forward the tracking details to us and always keep the airway bill till it gets delivered to us.
# Not withstanding the above or any other provision, we are under no obligation to accept any returns or to provide any replacements or exchange or store credit.
We have our complete sole discretion in deciding whether or not to accept returns on case to case basis depending upon the merit & genunity of the case.
-In case of multiple goods being ordered, if the delivery is not possible for certain items, then the customers will be requested to select alternate items or if no alternate selection is desired by customer then their money for the remaining items shall be refunded back promptly against the non-delivered goods or services along with their shipping charges.
-In case of multiple orders of same designs with stones it is impossible to match the same exact same colour of the stones, there will be slight difference in matching colour of stones as they are natural stones & its their nature to be different.
-If the outer packing is damaged or tampered with, do verify the items quality and quantity with invoice before accepting the package from the courier agency.
In case of any discrepancy, either refuse to accept delivery or accept delivery only after putting suitable remark on the proof of delivery. Also lodge proper complain with the local office of the courier agency.
# All discretions to be done solely by the company. All services are at sole discretion.
-The details of the products or product specifications (for instance weight, colour, handwork details, size, etc.) quoted with the product displays are only fairly approximate values.
-Customised Orders once placed cannot be cancelled or changed. Neither refund nor exchange will be done for such a case.
-For customised products the firm will not be held responsible for unavoidable delay in delivery, accidental loss, damage of customer’s stones/items in course of manufacturing/repairs.
~ PAYMENT POLICY
1. If any order is cancelled due to improper information/details, the customer will be notified within 24 - 96 hours of the problem and it is then customer's responsibilities to replace the order with his/her correct information with in 24-72 hours. Or else the customer is liable to pay the cancellation charges to M/s Girdharil Lal Co. minimum of 10$ & max to 50 percent of the actual cost which so ever is higher.
2. Cheques / Demand Drafts and money orders must be received with in 7 business days of the purchase date of the item.
3. Cheque purchases will not be shipped until Cheque has been cleared.
4. Cheque should be drawn on an Indian bank only.
5. On your request/Custom make order cannot be cancelled. GirdhariLalCo will not be liable for refund, replace or exchange or in any kind of settlement.
~ SHIPPING POLICY
-We deliver to all and any postal address around the world. Courier companies do not deliver to P.O.Box address,so we request you to provide full street address with pin code / zip code. Please note that all the products will be shipped from India.
-Please note that residential shipments to USA & some other countries will be left at door if someone is not there to receive the package or no one answers the door bell.
Our courier agents will not be able to provide sign confirmation of delivery made in such cases.
-To ensure that no disputes arise due to this, kindly make sure that someone is there to receive the package when courier delivery is attempted.
No deliveries are made on Saturdays and Sundays in most countries, where 5 days are working. In many Arabic/Islamic countries Friday's are normal off days/Holidays.
Some times if possible nationally within India we may try to organize deliveries on Saturdays also on some extra cost on case to case basis.
-Further deliveries are generally made during normal working hours of courier companies and these vary from country to country.
-Please note that there are no shipments made from the store on Sundays and public holidays as our logistics partner, does not make any pick-ups on those days.
-We will not responsible for any kind of reimbursement for lost or stolen packages or partial damages to the package after being left at customer's address by postal / courier companies.
-Once an order is registered, you cannot make any alterations. However, address alteration requests may be accommodated within 24 hours of placing the order.

Also Note: some courier companies charge a penalty for incorrect shipping addresses, wherein the address and zip code do not match.
The customer will, without exception, bear the cost of any such penalties and/or fees, not GirdhariLalCo. Please make sure your shipping address is correct.
In the event of a reshipment of the same order, customers will be responsible to pay re-shipping charges for the reshipment
If a shipment is lost in transit, & if it is insured then we will wait for 15 days and then reprocess/reship the order.

~ Calculating cost -
-Please also note that the shipping rates are weight based, charges are rounded up for 500gms for single product parcel.
-International shipping and handling rates is based on the size of your order: the larger you order, the lower the rates.
~VAT / Tax & Custom Duties -
VAT / Tax/ Custom Taxes and Import Duties are not in our control. They vary according to the rules of different countries and must be paid directly by the buyer. VAT / Custom Taxes and Import Duties are not included in our ordering process, but may be charged to you by your government.
International customers are responsible for any customs or duty fees levied by their country.
We have no control over these charges and cannot predict when they would occur or increase, as policies vary generally from nation to nation. They are entirely your responsibility.
The courier company may also charge some additional service charges over and above custom duty on case to case basis, if so that would be payable by the customer.
